HealthSouth MountainView is an 96-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital with two locations that offers comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation services designed to return patients to leading active and independent lives.

Our hospital is owned and operated by HealthSouth Corporation in affiliation with Monongalia Health Systems and West Virginia University Hospitals, Inc.

HealthSouth MountainView provides a wide range of physical rehabilitation services, a vast network of highly skilled, independent private practice physicians and HealthSouth therapists and nurses, and the most innovative equipment and rehabilitation technology, ensuring that all patients have access to the highest quality care. Designed with our patient’s care in mind, our hospital offers 40 semi-private rooms with amenities like televisions, telephones and wireless internet capabilities.

In addition to caring for general rehabilitation diagnoses such as orthopedics, cardiac, pulmonary, amputee, arthritis, and neurological conditions, HealthSouth MountainView has specialized inpatient programs for stroke, pediatrics, brain injury, and spinal cord

This 73,000 square-foot hospital serves patients throughout Morgantown and is located at 1160 Van Voorhis Road, Morgantown, WV. Rehabilitation is covered in full or part by most health insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. The hospital has contracts with most major insurance companies and is willing to negotiate with other companies as needed.

HealthSouth MountainView was awarded the Silver Level recipient of National Excellence in Worksite Wellness Award in 2009.
